Body Types for striking

i have a similar body 5-11, 225, you should work on your overhand, hooks and footstomps. also what has really helped me is that im right handed but i stand southpaw, you should try it.

Interesting... I switched to southpaw lately because my foot work is much better(hard to unlearn bad habbits on orthodox side). My hook and jab are bone crushing crazy, and my left straight is good when hitting mitts and the bag. I don't feel comfortable yet throwing the left too much during sparring... did you also have that problem? What did you do to overcome it besides doing more rounds?
