Mind boggling chart here with current UFC champion heights.

Bobby Knuckles is now the tallest UFC champion standing 6'0 @ 185,

2nd tallest is in the third lowest weight class - Max 5'11 @FW

Even Cormier... "I cut 30 lbs to make 205" - DC on the MMA Hour

Popular rhetoric says Yoel 5'10" @MW & Conor 5'9" @FW are """huge"""

meanwhile too often glossing over fighters like:

Vick 6'3 @LW
Zabit 6'1" @FW
Sugar Sean 5'11 @ FW
Max Holloway 5'11" @FW
Darren Till 230 lbs @ WW
200 lbs Tony & Khabib @ LW
Luke Rockhold 6'3" 220 lbs @ MW
Jon Dwight Jones 6'4" 84.5" reach @ LHW

Dana / UFC need to cut the BS and open up more weights

125> 135 > 145 > 155 > 165 > 175 > 185 > 195 > 225> HW Unlimited

haha, that IS pretty funny to think about.

Man-lets runnin shit nowadays.

Cormier really skewed that stat though.

But if anything he should be the tallest horizontal UFC fighter.

There’s a big difference between a man who trains and diets professionally then cuts 20+ lbs to weigh in at 145 lbs

AND

A person who sits on the computer all day and steps on the bathroom scale at 200+ lbs.

Sorry Sherdog, you’re not as big as you think you are.

5'0 to 5'9 is king

All the tall people will have horrible knees in no time.

And here we have a picture of TS In real life, on the left.

It's always been known that weight classes are there to protect the big guys from the manlets

If height won fights Stefan Struve would be the all time GOAT

but its Mighty Mouse

its mind blowing how dc is the champ champ in the 2 biggest divisions

I bet Chad shook Lesnar to his core until he realized he's safe hiding in HW.

Mark Hunt has proven that height doesn't matter for years...

Manlets have an unfair advantage when it comes to fighting due to the manlet rage that runs through their veins and fuels their determination to succeed.

Standing taller than 6'2 starts to become a handicap.

Tall guys die younger too.

Not really. If they maintain power, and have good grappling, many guys could threaten at the larger weight classes.

The ability to get under your opponent's guard, and the equalization that grappling brings can make being the smaller big guy an advantage.

Fedor used that to his advantage. The most decorated HW's of all time have been 5'11.

Hw's are just clumsy oafs for the most part, and most of them suck at grappling, and have shit cardio.

Being big is good for front runners, but it's a detriment to guys who have to fight wars.
