Blue Belt promotion.

Congrats man.

Is anyone here from an academy where a blue belt promotion takes 2-4 years? I train at a Nova Uniao affliate and my coach is notoriously tough with promotion.

I don't know about Blue belt promotions but our coach is also an extremely slow promoter. We have two guys in particular who are both 4 stripe Blue belts and they really shouldn't be anymore. Both of the have literally won every competition they've gone to in the past 1.5 years (and they compete a bunch). They also tend to win the absolute divisions as well. Both have 4+ years of training. I would be very surprised if they didn't get their purple belts before the end of this year.

As far as I know, it's the same with the Nova Uniao guys here. They've got badass white belts, let alone the blue belts.
