If you believe it or not the statement had the desired effect
Headlines and talk
Get out that man's pockets.
He’s pretty modest. Prob too humble to tell people how much he actually made as he doesn’t want others to feel bad. Nice guy.
They say they're suspicious of his claim. They aren't outright claiming it's false.
I think it's false. It's Conor talking big and exaggerating like he often does. But for him to say a number so high, it has to at least be in the tens of millions.
He says he made 50 million from the khabib fight, he didnt say that was his show money. Think outside the box, he has endorsements, advertising for his business, revenue for whiskey sales, fight purse, etc
Dont be such marks
An EBITDA of 240 mill in 2018 is no small change, but is WAY below what is expected.
Somebody (in Vegas or in Ireland) will be busted big time by IRS of equivalent very soon....
Is it not obvious that when he throws out the 80 million figure he's talking about from the fight, his proper 12 brand, and who else knows what all types of promotional/marketing things he's got going on from taking this fight!??
Conor knows how to promote, he got y'all talking about his pay
Conor made 45 million in a whole year hes not making 80 here lay of that crack pipe.
yeah, even Conor didnt believe what he was saying you could see him stuttering and stammering with a half assed smile. 80 million that means the company would not make any profit lol
His source of income is much wider than any other fighter's
These bloody elbow 'experts' would try to predict his pay based on what's been released in the antitrust lawsuit / court docs + they use Hal Singer's reports...meh
They think they have evidence and their argument is "Maybe that’s exactly what happened, but I’m a little suspicious of those numbers he’s throwing out." LOL
the ufc didnt pay conor that. sure i guess conor can have endorsements and sponsorships but that has nothing to do with the money he make on sat.
"McGregor got a base salary of $3 million for his UFC 229 bout, but a record 2.4 million PPV buys helped push his total fight pay over $30 million." - Forbes.com
That don't mean all the money is from the ufc. It's not that black and white.
Conor is a humanitarian. He is trying to force the UFC to pay more to the other fighters. "Hey, look at how much Conor makes. Pay me more."
P.S. You know Conor would win the classic UFC tournaments.
Conman was telling lies?
If he lies about this... what else might he be lying about?
Have you seen how intelligent his fans are?
Ye I'm guessing the guy who got paid knows more about this than some media outlet
