I've never heard this before. How fast does spray paint dry anyways? If I spray painted my floor to cover stains (which I did once) and rolled all over it 20 minutes later I'd assume I'd have the paint all over me.

I don't know how to time stamp so go to 1:07:33 if interested.

It might dry quicker on the canvas than it would a hard surface. I used to rebuild furniture and did a lot of spray painting. Certain textures seem to dry much quicker, though I have no idea what material the canvas is made of in the octagon.

Live, while the event is going on? Between fights? Never heard that one. Surprised they don't blur out blood on the fighters. Also, fuck those who get squeamish from some blood, go watch badminton or bowling.

I didnt know that either. I also didnt know Brenden Schaub was soo unfunny. Gawd, I was like shut up!! Joe's talking!!!

Really?? never noticed that ever. Edit its Rogan and Schaub.. my God they come up with nonsense after nonsense after nonsense.

Joe Rogan busted a nut once in the Octagon during a post-fight interview, and some guys ran into the cage to spray paint over it. Same thing happened when Timmy shit all over the place.

It was for the first and maybe second show. I don't they still do it. At least i haven't heard about it.

They did it at the first Fox event for sure...took a long time and they kept looping the same music over and over. Should have just shown the Bendo/Guida fight on TV while that was all going on instead of all the commentary.

He was interviewing Ronda at the time, he mentioned it wouldn't happen again because it was a once in a lifetime nut busting.

What if the blood is where a sponsor is? Would they just cover up the sponsor? I also feel like I'd notice a painted spot in the octagon, though I've never actively looked for such a thing so I guess I wouldn't know for sure.

Hydrogen peroxide removes all traces of blood immediately on contact.

I went to the first ufc on fox and I didn't think it was paint, but they spent lots of time scrubbing the mat between fights

I know they did it at Fox 7(Melendez vs Henderson) in San Jose cause I was there
After every fight they'd come out with a little portable spray kit and a dryer and paint over the blood spots

That would probably be the vast majority of people, which is why this is a niche sport.
