Both those guys have better wrestling credentials, mma wrestling, and a huge striking advantage.

There’s levels to this and Cormiers wrestling makes his mediocre creds look minuscule. He has pleb tier cardio and Stipe would probably punch a hole through his head.

We already saw what Ngannou did to him catching basic underhooks to counter his basic body lock... he looks a lot better than he is because he fights in a sham of a division, However DC and Stipe are the only legit fighters and he ain’t touching them.

DC absolutely does not have a 'huge striking advantage'. his decent striking comes from threat of TD - and blaydes is the one guy in the division who might be able to stuff his TDs as well.

DC absolutely does have a clear striking advantage on Blaydes. Blaydes stand up is nearly non existent. DC's stand is sharp, crisp, and fucking quick! Also Blaydes wrestling pales in comparison to DC's. Its like comparing apples to pickup truck.

DC would sleep Blaydes standing up. How do you guys not realize this? DC is WAY faster than Blaydes is and over a decade older lmao.

Blaydes is a good wrestler in a garbade ass division with 2 elite fighters at the top and a striker that has already knocked him dead. That's what's up.

He was fine the first three rounds, last two he was cringe to watch. Volk however could never capitalize on that deficit or only minimally.

I like Blaydes and still think he has a higher potential. Without a doubt he needs to fix a few things. Dude is 29 in the HW game so has some time.

Khabib lays the blueprint for wrestling and GNP, most simply cannot match this and likely will be sometime before they come close or do.
