lulz. With this incident and Trump, this is already turning into the most interesting campaign in my life.
The radical left in the form of all sorts of bastardized feminist viewpoints (centered around intersectionalism) has continued off the deep end unabated for awhile now. It's pushed moderates like me away. Now, they are facing their own comeuppance. Who would have ever thought that pigeonholing people in categories of race, gender, and/or sexual orientation would lead to a disjointed movement full of infighting??? Who could have seen that coming??????
THIS is truly TumblrInAction personified. And it's fun to watch. The left made its bed by not alienating these morons, now they have to live with them.
Because he's black, and was arrested by white cops shortly before his death.
Nevermind his cause of death was related to the fact that he was a fat fuck. That detail is ignored because of the political movations in reporting the story that he was killed by white cops.
I say this as someone who generally avoids "cops are racist" threads on here because I refuse to axiomatically accept that all cops are racist or that there isn't some sort of racism directed at blacks. Neither are true.
I don't really care much about the Michael Brown incident. I hate that a life was lost, but we aren't talking about an angel here, not someone worthy of all the attention a social outrage he's gotten. However, Eric Garner wasn't being violent at all, and the policy of that department to allow choke holds is obviously erroneous. No matter how you slice it, Eric Garner should be alive today. What happened there was a travesty, regardless of his weight. It's fucking asinine and outrageous that he's dead and not only will anyone face prosecution for it, but the regulations of choke holds didn't even change.
Michael Brown was a loose cannon and the forensics don't match the "hands up don't shoot" testimony, but Eric Garner was only selling cigarettes and never acted violently towards the cops. There's no excuse for his death.
