Black eye treatment??

Im not sure if this is the right place to post this but oh well,

Do any of you folks have secrets for clearing up a black eye quickly??

This is my second one in 4 months and with my job its kind of embarrassing. I must bruise pretty easy and I just seem to have the bad luck of ending up with boney, spaz BJJ partners.

Anyway, I use Arnica now but it still takes a few weeks to clear one up. My eye is still a bit discolored from the one I had 4 months ago.

The one I have now is pretty bad, swollen and crusty especially in the morning.

Im a chef and I spend a lot of time out in the dining room talking to guests.

Traumeel. they make a gel that can be applied topically, I'd go with that. ordinarily I would reccomend mixing the oral liquid with dmso, but I'm hesitant to tell you to put that by your eye.

search that i got mine from fightstuff it came quick but im not sure if you can get it quicker locally or if anyone carries it.i use it on my shins when we spar without guards and i bruise but i put it on a blackeye but only rubbed it on my obital bone and it seemed to helpout ...but i always wonder how much it helps and i the best thing i think for it is time...

I use Hirudoid and Arnica, but it takes a while to work. dun know if it makes a difference

It'll sound ghey, but I always use witch hazel on bruises and such, it seems to help, but in your case I'm not sure about using it so close to your eye.

I had to hide my black eyes/training from a former employer. I would use my girlfriends Cover Up makeup. Never cured it obviously but nobody ever knew.

You beat me.
The internal variety of Traumeel I found to be best for the black eye, as most of the healing is internal, combined with the topical of course.

Desitin, Prep H, any diaper rash cream. Those are alright, but not as good as Traumeel.

I tried eating a bunch of mangos before... hard to say if it actually helped but they are healthy and they can't hurt!! Good luck

Thanks guys, I actually got hit in the same eye again last night. Now its even worse. I just have plain bad luck.
