Black beasts back issues? Can they be resolved?

Its exasterbated by the weight cut and his terrible diet. If he loses some weight and fixes his diet they wont flair up before every fight. Isn't hard to figure out. Gets them right after his cut. He needs to start doing yoga and actually giving a shit about his body.

He needs to lose serious weight, but then he might suck after not having size advantages.

No, back issues can never be completely resolved. Once your disc ruptured its never going to go back to 100% no matter what you do, and spinal discs only get worse over time due to degenerative disc disease. The best case is you have surgery on it or get a spinal fusion to alleviate the pain long-term, but that kind of surgery might end someone's fighting career anyway.

Plus if he opts for disc replacement that puts him out for a year minimum.

Diet and exercise would probably help but he ain't about that life.

As someone with back issues, how would you feel about throwing the kind of kicks he was throwing last night while having those back issues.

When i've got a back pain even thinking about a move like that would be too painful.

His back seems to be jacked up..hes getting shots into his disc i think that give him temporary relief for a bout a week. I think hes in constant pain from it and his size and training will be making it worse. Wouldnt be surprised if retires soon.

Yeah, with his enormous size and profession, the outlook isn't good. He might battle through for a few more years, but rapid retirement wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

Lewis needs to put down that huge torch he's carrying for Ronda, I'm sure that would take a big load off his back.

srsly, back problems suck, it's amazing he can compete at all, let alone at the level he has been.

As long as I'm not having a flare up. I could do those kicks myself. After proper stretching all is good. But if he's training those and feels good in the gym, why not use them in a fight? Who knows what kind of help he's getting. I think he's getting epidural, pain meds and muscle relaxers so he has no problem in the gym I imagine.

do yoga, start shooting stemcells, reverse hyper machine and things along those lines
eat elk steak and mountain lions ashole with raspberries.cut sugar to reduce inflammation
whatever u do dont go under knife.or just quit fighting

Magnesium and turmeric have been a god send for me. Coupled with krill oil and calcium and zinc.
Tumeric is criminally underrated. I've been taking it for 9 months now and stacked with about 10,000mg of fish oil a day I get by alright.

I don't think he was ok, seems like a high risk move if you have any chance of getting a back pain.

Lol epidural. I've gone through the same bullshit. Temporary relief. Until I finally opted for the permanent fix. Complete disc replacement. I'm 60 percent improved and have yet to have a flare up that leaves be bed ridden for a week and a half. Also, no longer dependent on opiates. I still take some AS NEEDED. But I went from 160 pills of norco a month to about 25 pills a month. So yeah probably more than 60 percent improvement because of how little pain meds I take now.
I'm still battling opiate addiction now. I was up to 40mg of oxy a day, plus valium for muscle relaxation, which surprisingly, the doctor was more worries about in terms of addiction.

What they don't tell you is that if you are a goal orientated person with exercise and work, ect, becoming crippled overnight and having all that taken away and replaced with a blissfully warm euphoria to replace that with...it's bad news. I didn't realise I'd become dependent until the doctor wanted to drop my dose 50%.

I still need L5-S1 fusion, but I've improved leaps and bounds with hydrotherapy, traction therapy, and getting back into the gym and knowing what my limits are. Ironically, I can box and do BJJ but I can't run for more than a mile at a time. I can shoot in for doubles and singles, but defending them puts a lot of load on my lower back. I can't do any high impact activities or anything where there's more than 75% of my body weight load on my spine.

Back issues are annoying.

I have 4 herniated disks. One in my neck and three in my lower back. Found out after getting an MRI after getting in a car accident

I was completely asymtomatic at the time.

I’ve had back spasms and pain since I was 12 years old. Been overweight most of my life.

I started “powerlifting” when I was 15. It’s hard to tell where the herniations came from.

But I will say this, you are capable of much more than you think you are when you are experiencing back pain. You can’t let it slow you down and sometimes just moving is the best thing to do.

The docters have already told him what to do, but Derrick is too ignorant to take the advice. Lose weight and start stretching.

"Ahh love donuts and fried chicken, fuck yoo talkin about"

The guy just seems to live by his own rules, and it's going to be his undoing.
Doesn't stick to the wrestling game plan because he doesn't want to wrestle.
Doesn't listen to his Doctors advice.
It's ribs before his Mark Hunt fight.

I don't know what's his injury he has but I hope he get the proper treatment for it. People often underestimate how serious a back injury can be I have spinal stenosis and man it's fucking painful! Feels like your whole spinal cord is on fire, legs get numb and it can cause bladder problems too. Currently taking some pills to help with the nerve pain, did some physical therapy and it gotten better over the years. Exercise is a must especially on your core.

I don't know anywhere near enough about back issues to be able to give a proper prediction/estimation.

I personally think Derrick isn't in the best shape anyway, so he could probably introduce some stuff to help.
