Can they even afford these guys after the dream deal they’ve given to PVZ? Seriously, I have no idea what their numbers are. But paying these fighters the money the reports seem to allude to seems like a bad idea for financial viability.

PVZ made about $500K by all accounts. Just to get beaten by a girl she was supposed to beat. Are they going to pay these guys that much money, and expect positive returns?

I’m just having a real tough time making the math work, with the info that has been reported thus far.

It was recently revealed both dos Santos and Overeem were removed from the heavyweight ranks. Shortly thereafter, it was reported both men were released from the promotion and they both confirmed the news on their social media.


After Junior dos Santos and Alistair Overeem were released, many wondered what would be next for them. Well, if David Feldman, the president of BKFC had his way, they both would sign with the sans gloves promotion.


“Yes, we are interested in both Junior dos Santos and Alistair Overeem. We have already made contact with them and their teams. Let’s see what happens,” Feldman said over text message to BJPENN.com.

As of right now, it is uncertain if either dos Santos and Overeem are interested in fighting sans gloves but an offer will be on the table.

JDS would be a good fit, Overeem might not do well with his high guard and chin issues. His defense to strikes is just to cover up with a high guard and without him being able to use his knees, kicks, and elbows he would be at a disadvantage in that style of fighting.
