Hello!

I lift in a gym where BJJ is the main focus.
I am a total noob in any kind of grappling art.
Im thinking of starting judo and it would be 3x times a week 2hr/class (including newaza)>But this is another topic<

Regarding BJJ training frequency...i have the oportunity to start training 3x a week, 1:30hr/class.

I dont want to compete, not in judo, not in BJJ.
I want to have skills in general grappling.

Do you guys think its enough training to get familiar in ground fighting/BJJ?

thank you!

3 times per week is good enough.
You will need one open mats per week which is usually sparring and/or classes that have at least 30 minutes sparring.

3 times a week is enough, you aren't going to be a world champ but you'll be able to progress at a decent rate.

Edit: hang on, you're going to be doing judo 3x a week plus BJJ 3x a week? That's a lot for a total beginner.
