Yes! I have longed for this for years! There can be no one more worthy of study than Maia when it comes to bjj i mma.

damn it man, why did you have to make a 2 part video!

I'm proud of bjj scout. Two videos in 2 months ;):D

Awesome work as usual, can't wait for part 2. I know people always go on about sweeps and submissions, but personally I think passing is the area that requires the most skill in BJJ.

I feel you. When I think of what a 'good match' looks like, I often think of examples where a guy pulled off a decisive pass on someone. Thats what feels like the most 'real', if you know what I mean.

i do those two passes all the time. they're brilliant. can't wait for part 2!

Argggg It left me wanting for more... Can't wait for part 2! So glad BJJ Scout is focusing more in mma nowdays, much more variables to have into account which make these analysis feel much more enlightening!

Me too, but I find the dope mount pass harder to get in sport bjj without the threat of the punches... I feel it's a really important part of the efectiveness of this pass, which leaves you with both hands free to rain down punches and force your opponent into a reaction.

i mostly get the dope mount pass when i'm doing other passes to pass the knee shield. if they're persistent with it when i already clear the legs, so they keep pushing me away with the knee, i usually go into the dope mount. that and when they push me off from mount and are pulling their legs out to reguard.

would love to get proficient with it from butterfly, like demian. teach me, BJJScout!
