You guys have any suggestions on where to stop in?

This is what I have done, flew into San Diego and flew out of San Francisco:

Rodrigo Medeiros; San Diego, CA
Clark Gracie; La Jolla, CA
Saulo Ribeiro; San Diego, CA

Allan Goes; Mission Viejo, CA

Nino Schembri; Redondo Beach, CA
Marcelo Cavalcanti; Torrance, CA
Rey Diogo; Los Angeles, CA
Xande Ribeiro; Los Angeles, CA

Franjinha Miller; Santa Barbara, CA (Paragon)

Kurt Osiander/Ralph Gracie; San Francisco, CA
Clovis Silva; San Francisco, CA

I skipped a ton of amazing schools, I only had enough time and money and I went along a certain route. California is the new Brazil. Honestly, I rolled with some of the toughest guys on that trip. Every single school I went to were full of killers. It ain't like that on the east coast, I can tell you that.

Claudio Franca BJJ and Kaijin (Garth Taylor) in Santa Cruz.

Caio Terra, AKA (Leandro Vieira) and Dave Camarillo in San Jose.

I was going to suggest Claudio also. Santa Cruz is a nice stopping point between Southern CA and San Francisco, especially if you drive up the coast.

i'm going to go ahead and suggest AoJ in Costa Mesa, CA - since it's less than 10m away from the PCH.
