Which style should I choose and why? Im about 5'1, 120lbs, and i got a orange belt in american kenpo. Just wanna know your opinion.

BOTH ARE A MUST But id say the same ground first! BJJ takes a lot longer to get good at than Muay Thai.

BJJ. Since you already know some stand up, go for a grappling art.

since you already know a little kenpo id go w/ BJJ, build up some ground skills.

I myself had Judo and Jiu-Jitsu training as a kid, than started a Kick/Thaiboxing carreer, and went back at BJJ as soon as I got involved in MMA.
I would advice you to do it the other way around, first take BJJ, than Muay-Thai, because of the reasons mentioned above. You have a little stand-up experience from your Kenpo, it sure ain't Muay-Thai, but it is at least better than nothing, so I would defenetely start BJJ first.

What purpose?Self defense,MMA,what?Give us a clue?

Where do you live, there may be something local that someone on here could point you in the direction of that does MMA nearby to you.

If in America,as someone posted on another thread earlier,do you have a wrestling team? That might be useful and you could combine that with stand up?

How much training have you done in Kenpo?I don't know how the grading system works? You could be training in it for 3 years to get the orange belt for all I know!!!

There are pros and cons in whichever 1 you take first, muay thai, well all MMA fights start standing(as do most street fights) but imo the ground game can be a little harder to learn(only my opinion though so don't flame) and may need more time..

Do you have both near where you live? Why not do some time in each and see where you wanna start?

Since you have Kenpo skills I would suggest touching up with BJJ, or like Tone C said.. work on your Wrestling.

I have a background with Wrestling / Kenpo also, and it is very helpful.

I'd debate that.

Doing bjj always seemed more instictive and natural to me. Whereas muay thai was harder to get. Consider that in grappling you just have to get the flow of the game and concept. Muay Thai the same thing but you also have to deal with getting hit. The whole brain scrambling part of learning to get hit (which isn't instictive or natural) makes muay thai a more psychologically demanding art to learn. IMO.

Of course you have people that take to one more than the other naturally of course.

An orange in kenpo (ed parker style?) shouldn't take more than probably a half a year so I doubt your standup is excellent, after seven years and a black belt i've develop decent standup, but kenpo doesn't in my opinion do enough for decent footwork...kenpo not that many people know this does have a ground element to it, it's not amazing but it does exist, it's limited to arm bars, wrist locks, a few chokes, no triangles, no leg locks, and it isn't even worked on until after you're pretty advanced...

personally do it all if you can, but, bjj if only one because it takes so much longer to develop a good ground game

The bjj is 5 minutes farther out than the Muay thai. Tha muay thaiplace also has free submission wrestling but im not sure if im old enuff for it.

Try both for a few lessons and see how you feel, which do you think is hardest for you?
Whilst you are at the MT place, find out about age limits etc..or phone 'em up.Or do the MT until you can take the sub wrestling.
