two months ago I was rolling and injured my knee, and it still hurts and is keeping me out of the gym. I was in a heel hook and like a donk i held out too long. I sat up into it and my knee made a loud pop sound. It didnt hurt till the next day and I could barley walk on it for a few days. Two months later Its better but I still cannot roll. I can run on it fine, but if i bend down to do something for more than a min then stand back up it hurts like hell, and when I lock up a triangle the pain is overwhelming.

Does or has anyone had a similar injury or have some advice. I went to the doctor and he said its nothing major but its pissing me off i cant even go roll at the gym. Any input is appreciated thanks

You went to "the doctor"??? Is there only one doctor where you live?

Go get looked at by a proper doctor who knows these kinds of injuries.

... nasty nasty heel hooks!

Did you get x-rays? When I hurt my knee I got x-rayed first and then I was sent to an MRI clinic because he could not tell if there was anything going on from the x-rays. It turned out to be a small tear in my mcl that did not require surgery.

Nobody can do much for you on this forum. You need to see a doctor. Go to a specialist. I hope you have insurance . . .

I hurt my knee 7 months ago and just had surgery 2 weeks ago due to doctors. I went to 3 different docs before one finally said there was something wrong with my knee and I needed surgery. Go back to your doc and have him look at it again, then go see an ortho doc about it, then go see a sports medicine ortho doc about it.

I agree with most of the comments. You should really really really go see a sports medicine doctor, because getting a correct diagnosis really is the most important thing you can do right now. Most GP's, even good ones, spend most of the day taking blood pressures and lecturing people about changing their diets to stave off diabetes - you want someone who deals with athletic injuries day in and day out.

And even then they might still be wrong...

I once had a knee injury that was 'diagnosed' as an LCL tear by a GP, torn cartilage by a physiotherapist, and an irritated IT band by the sports med doc. Turns out the last guy I saw - the sports med guy - was correct.

Good luck
