I'm going to be at Microsoft's Tech-Ed next week, so I'll be down in Orlando and looking to train some. I've done a quick google search and found a Gracie Barra affiliate under Marcio Simas that I will probably try to drop by unless anyone else has other suggestions? Does anyone train under Simas or at another school in Orlando? I train at a school that is part of Gustavo Machado's affiliation in case that matters.
Where in Orlando will you be? If downtown: Best bet is Marcio's school If near UCF: ATT on Dean & University or Marcio's newest location on Alafaya & University Both are great schools. I've trained at ATT and they're fun guys. Very welcoming. Never trained at GBO, but I know people who have and they enjoy it too. Go to whatever is most convenient.
I'm near the orange county convention center. According to google maps I'll be 4 miles away from the GBO Sandlake location. Know anything about them? Are they chill with people dropping by?
I know that drop-ins are fine. I believe a drop-in is between 25 and 30 dollars now there from what I last heard.
Gustavo Machado has an affiliate that just opened up in Daytona. I'm going down to florida next week, and that's where I'll be hanging around. Home I've heard nothing but great things about this place.
