Ok, I've read the dirty laundry. But I'm not interested in the drama (at least now that I've read all about it). I'm interested in quality bjj instruction that fits my schedule and Studio X's does, plus the gym looks pretty sweet.

I ask those who are in the know: What is the quality of the instruction? In all honest...bs, moral judgements, and character issues aside.

Couldn't you just take a trial class? That would probably be better than a bunch of biased replies from internet pseudonyms.

fighthouse? didn't you or one of the others say on here somewhere that your teacher is leaving soon because his visa expires?

Nonetheless, I'm probably going to go check it (fighthouse) out some time next week.

That seemed like a harsh response! I know you're from NY but no need to be THAT much of a prick when all he did was offer advice (that YOU asked for)

There are a lot of good schools in Manhattan.

RGA, Machado, Alliance, Ronin, Fighthouse, etc.

Check out ALL of them. That's what I did, and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

I go to nyc studio x it's perfect for me. I took the trial and instantly loved it. Everyone treats me like I'm part of the family. The instructions are of top quality and josh is the man.
