So guys, I am addicted to Jiu Jitsu but the problem is my life is busy. I can only get into the gym for sparring/training twice per week. Outside of that I do run three times a week and use kettlebells for strength training.

Is there anything you can suggest to do on my own at home that would help me with learning BJJ and improving? Drills, etc maybe?

i always wanted to get a grappling dummy, but the one I want is about $500 bucks... If you can afford, get it and drill your heart out..

So a grappling dummy to practice on would be best?

A grappling dummy is what I would definitely get to help strenghten my weaknesses. I don't get much drilling time in class and sometimes I feel I forget some techniques because of that. It depends what your weakness is. Cardio, strength, technique? My problem is technique. I forget the details of techniques if I don't drill it until it becomes natural.

Cardio and Strength is good, its the technique that is a problem.
