It looks like the MMA journalists have finally come around to their senses. Many years that guy was ranked far above what he should've been. After ten years on top Fedor was removed from the P4P rankings yet BJ who'd lost and lost remained in the top 3 long past his expiration date. Good on the MMA journalists for pulling their heads out of their butts.

the problem with bjis that he only takes HUGE high profile fights against the very best fighters on earth. hes not p[adding his record. If he loses a close UD or SD against Frankie he should be ranked because half of the top 10 fws would probably get smoked.

Besides I'd favor BJ over all the # 6-15 flyweight fighters not named Nik lentz...that's a good enough reason to rank him to me

BJ Penn's last win at LW (similar weight class) was in 2009 against Diego Sanchez.

Thats 5 years.
