BJ Penn says 145 title after he beats Edgar

Aldo would absolutly destroy him. But he will lose to Edgar anyway.

Will it even be a five-rounder? And I don't know honestly... My mind says Edgar of course as it did the previous two times (yes even in Abu Dhabi), but my heart says BJ for the first time. I'd like to see him get back on track. I recently bought his instructional book and you can just tell how important MMA is to him. It's very sad.

I thought I read a source that BJ was training with Aldo for this fight?

any truth?

BJ's done, has 1 win since 2009, 1 win in his last 6.

Hardly think one win at 145 warrants a shot, or even suggests he will get anywhere near it. He moved to a faster division where his speed and cardio were lacking even at 170.. idunno man.

Seeing him get a 3rd divisional title would be incredible though, who knows maybe one last run is possible.

I know dem feels. I really do thats why I hope BJ can come back one last time and straight beast!

Sure, let's ignore the fact that he's been fighting top 5 guys in a weightclass too heavy. I guarantee he'd have more than 1 win out of 6 if he were competing in his own weight class.

He's not going to get past Edgar this time. I can't believe that BJ would already look past the man who has beaten him twice.
