I like GSP as well as BJ Penn but this is quite the dubious statement

“I remember when I fought him the first time, when he was nobody, I didn’t think about it being risky for my legacy,” Penn said in an interview with Rapid Fire. “That’s why I believe, when all this is said and done, that’s why I’ll be remembered but he will never be remembered.”

“You know, Anderson Silva was there, he could have fought Anderson Silva, but he never fought Anderson Silva for his legacy. Just as a rule of thumb, for myself personally, I don’t live thinking about my legacy. I’ll fight. I want to fight anyone, you know?”

people can bash bj's record, but hes right that he fough about anyone. Its one of the reasons his win loss isn't that good

GSP turned down a fight with a guy he beat twice already? Wait, I'm already starting to forget who I'm talking about. Now I will never remember the guy who went on an unprecedented winning streak and cleaned out his division. What was his name again?

I don't see how anyone besides BJ Penn would bet on today's BJ Penn against GSP

How badly does BJ need to get his ass kicked to figure it out?

TO THE DEATH, GEORGES!

LOL.

I love BJ but GSP will be remembered as one of the GOATS. The average fan doesn't even know who he is anymore.

Silly statement about GSP aside, I never cared for how "subpar" BJ Penn's record might look to people. It's the result of constantly fighting some of the best fighters in the world.

BJ quit and had his mom go to court for him. That's how people will remember him.

You are the biggest crybaby in the sport Mr bj

Same with Hendo

The last time Georges fought BJ, Penn quit in the corner and then proceeded to drag his mommy and GSP in front of the athletic commission.
