Maybe they were super excited because they put money on TJ to win. Looks like a legit reaction to me.

I don't know, you don't see much of Penn in that picture. Maybe Hughes and Thompson are desperately restraining this beast of a man, lest he climb into the cage and unleash dire retribution. It's a lonely battle they fight, as the rest of the audience pretends not to see anything, hoping the chaos will somehow pass them by.

Don't see why would they so happy because of TJ winning. Most likely some other fight.
