so I was reading an article that said penn is bringing in mike dolce to help him drop down to 145. and I realized this will be the 5th Weight class bj fights at, he fought at heavyweight, middleweight, welterweight, lightweight and if he makes this cut featherweight. can anyone think of another fighter in modern mma that can say they've done that? so in conclusion bj penn= honey badger cus he just don't give a fuck. he has literally never backed down from a fight and for that reason he will always be my favorite fighter.

I believe Florian fought MW, WW, LW, and FW. But he was nowhere near as bold as Penn.

True. BJ Penn is badass and the p4p GOAT. Maybe Fedor can claim that title too, but I'd give it to BJ Penn.

damn I think you're right. he started at super heavyweight I believe and went all the way down to welter but I don't know how many stops he made on his way there.

Jason Reinhardt has 3 loses in 3 different weight classes in the UFC and is undefeated outside the UFC.

When did he compete at HW? Are you counting the openweight fight vs Machida or is there something else that I don't know about?

His fight with Lyoto Machida at K1 was a heavyweight fight, was it not?

He's probably counting that because machida weighed as a heavyweight

yea machida. I always thought it was widely accepted in this forum as a heavyweight bout?? he weighed in north of 185 and lyoto weighed in at 220.

191 lbs vs 224 lbs is not heavweight. It's called open-weight.

The weight class these 2 fought under was the grossly out of shape, and unproperly trained division.
