Economy Bitcoin heading into the stratosphere again soon to hit 30,000 each

"buying" it on paypal means you're essentially holding a promise of the value of bitcoin. You don't actually hold any bitcoin. You'll still get the value of it if you sell at a profit. Just saying, you're not actually holding BTC. It's more like placing a bet while PayPal holds the currency.

oh shit I had no idea that’s how the PayPal one works.

Yeah that's why I avoid it..you can't transfer wallets. Well that and the fact they have three options for buying.

It looks like Chipotle going to get a lot of Sherdoggers business lol. It's a joke relax.

New York(CNN Business)Chipotle is jumping into the bitcoin craze. Sort of.

No, the chain isn't accepting the cryptocurrency as payment for its Mexican dishes. Instead, Chipotle is giving away $100,000 worth of bitcoin on Thursday to celebrate National Burrito Day.

The contest marks the first time a US restaurant chain has given away bitcoin, according to Chipotle."

Bitcoin’s 40% crash ‘does feel like capitulation,’ says crypto specialist, but here’s where the next crucial support level stands
Crypto markets have shifted from buy, buy to bye, bye bitcoin, in a nanosecond, and technicians say that the digital asset may have more room to fall in the near term as a monthslong bullish trend unravels.

Prices for the world’s most popular digital asset had broken below a number of levels viewed as support for the asset, including $42,000.

I can't even log into BlockFi. Hopefully this means people are buying.

I just attempted to buy some more ETH on blockfi but looks like they suspended trading.

I bought ETH and BTC at their current rate. I lost all my profits but hope it comes back
They absolutely will unless there is a fundamental change in the idea that banks are bunk and fiat currency is a doomed system. Do you suddenly think banks are good and fiat will depreciate? If so, it was a bad idea to buy.

Bitcoin seems to do well during crisis so while it may fluctuate at these levels for a few years, you can always guarantee that something will pop up causing it to rise again. It’s not really a great vehicle for quick in and outs based on selling/buying delays.

I know now that it’s dipping I should probably buy more but I just want to sit for six months and see what happens. If it recovers I’ll probably regret not buying but still.

So everyone is concerned with the environment, sure, sounds more like the banking/gvt financial institutions worried about what they are losing.
