Bisping was a bit dismissive of Kennedy's win, saying "He didn't try for much else apart from holding me down for dear life." And saw his upcoming fight in juxtaposition to what he felt was Kennedy's performance (transcription via Luke Thomas):

"No, Cung Le isn't taking me down and I won't take him down. This fight has fireworks written all over it and that's why I'm excited for the match up. It'll be a great striking battle.

"I'm really looking forward to main eventing in China and I'm going to give people what they paid to see," he went on. "I feel like I didn't live up to my words last time."

...

"I've got a point to prove: a point to prove to myself and the paying public, that you should still watch my fights, that I'm still a contender. But that all starts with Cung Le," Bisping said. "Apologies for the last fight. I was trying my best, but only one of us wanted to fight and that was me. The other guy didn't engage."

Bisping went on to proclaim that "his back is against the wall," and that he "doesn't intend to make it two losses in a row." Cung Le feels like the right fight for Bisping right now.

So you're only engaging someone if you strike with them now? ugh. If he gets cut then I honestly wouldn't even care, the guy has been on the roster for eight years and is 0-6 in big fights.

That would be what? Three loses in a row? They have kept lesser fighters with as many loses.

He will or at least should be cut if he loses to Cung. Most of the guys from the first couple of seasons of tuf are retired or on the verge. The Count is 35 and near the end. He was always an overhyped fighter though he showed some promise early on. The count will be down for the count. He can always commentate for the UFC. Bisping and Sonnen could cohost UFC TONIGHT and become the biggest douche duo in the history of Sports talk.

You don't cut a dude like Bisping, he will still be a draw even after two losses. UFC wouldn't cut him, maybe a pay cut but UFC needs guys like him.

looking forward to the fight. Should be a good one. Either the count will go to sleep, or Cung Le will get beat up. The just bleed God is going to have a good night.

he doesnt say anything about being cut

He's UFC for life. He will be retired by Dana

he hasnt lost 3 in a row

Im talking about if he loses to Le. Which looking it up now would be two in a row. For some reason i thought he was on a 2 fight losing streak. Probably because hes been out so long before his last fight.

he wont lose to Cung imo..... although I said that about Kennedy as well lol

Ufc is a little too slow to figure this bout out. Bisping should have push this bout a little early instead of him fightin Kennedy, a win againts Cung could get him a step closer for a title shot. But this fight happenin in China I doubt Cung is gunna take easy on him. Ufc might cut him if he refuse a 12 k to show 12k to win paycut.

Yeah right they will cut UK biggest draw...

Is Bisping the only shining star or prospect out of the UK for the UFC, really? This may or may not answer your question.
