Bisping vs Rockhold, Nate vs Conor, etc- give you any hope for a DC victory?

We had Stipe and Bisping score 1st knockouts that most people weren't expecting.

Nate choking out Conor on 10 days notice in a fighter where everyone is going to say "Oh yeah I totally called that" when we all know 99% of us expected full camp McGregor to school.

Tate choking out Holm in a fight she was probably losing.

Can we get a DC victory? Or is Jones just too smart to make the same mistakes that the previous favorites made?

In hindsight, Nate choking out Conor wasn't an upset at all.

No way DC beats Jones imo. Jon is just a horrible matchup for him.

I like your post, but not necessarily the sentiment. Mostly because I don't consider them shock upsets. Only bookmaker "odds" upsets.
It is as realistic as possible that those fights can go either way, in my opinion.
I polled all the way for Diaz win. I won £22 betting on it.
I thought Tate might lose a decision but she's tough. I was only surprised that Bisping won by KO, rather than points.

See.., Sherdogging, as it may be called, is a bubble of illusion where louder, shoutier threads are made and cussing people over their decision is the norm.

Take a bunch of fighters picks and match them against Shertardery - then see the difference.

He can beat anybody on the night.

I still favour Jones but anybody shouting "will get destroyed" or "ZERO chance", doesn't deserve an account on a fucking MMA forum. They should stick to Pokemon, pizza and Call of Duty.

Then mysteriously after "so-and-so" does exactly just that, said posters recede back in the shadows and become quiet / unseen.

People act like Jones destroyed DC but it was really close. DC gassed. If he can up the cardio and stick to dirty boxing, you'll see an upset

No... the difference between all of your examples and Jones v DC is that we have a first fight to go off of with Jones and DC. DC had nothing for Jones and everyone that thinks DC will win is counting on Jones being worse. The truth is Jones will be better and this win will be even more decisive.

Upsets happen but jones is a top 4 ever and hes not even 30 so i think its unlikely. Conor and rockhold are talented but they werent even close to jones status so the upsets werent shocking by any means.

Except Bisping vs Rockhold 2 was a rematch. With Bisping coming in on short notice!
And I disagree with "DC having nothing for Jones", it was a close fight, Jones didn't really ever have DC in trouble of being finished. DC had a dump in round 4 and then round 5 was just clinch fighting against the cage.

I have hope!

You're right I totally missed the Bisping thing. On the other hand, DC/Jones 1 was not close. Again I think that Jones will be improved from that first fight and I see DC's game as having plateaued.
