The Count deserves a full training camp and mental preparation for this fight. Branch deserves a fight that will be a little more high profile than his last one.

This is the most epic way for Mike to go out, win lose or draw.
 
Epic? Not at all. Branch is legitimately top 10 but isn't even remotely a draw.

Bisping needs a fight with a faded champ, either Belfort or Machida, maybe Rashad Evans.

Someone with a name that won't hospitalize him.

Bisping has surpassed the need for a big draw, especially with fighters who are genuinely completely a shell of what they once were. I believe Bisping is up to the challenge and wants to retire like a warrior the way Hendo did.
 
I actually thought they were gonna make this fight for the London card, but nope.
 
The words "Epic" and "David Branch" dont belong in the same sentence tbh.

Good fight tho, could go either way.

? Hendo fought Bisping in London and was a huge star in his own right. Casual UFC fans have no clue who David Branch is. How the heck will Bisping take this fight and make it a headliner in London? He needs a name fighter as I stated.

If it wasn't his retirement fight I'm sure Bisping would fight him.
 
I ultimately don't think branch will be a big enough name to lure bisping outta semi-retirement. it'll have to be a name on the decline of their career like vitor, lyoto or rashad who have all been mentioned in this thread. he might even take a tougher fight in luke rockhold to complete the trilogy
 
Why on Earth would Bisping fight Branch for his retirement fight. Zero chance of that happening.

Hopefully they make Branch/Weidman.
 
I have Branch as a slight favorite in this one, but he very well could end up getting Pinged.

Lmao. Hospitalize him? Who has Branch KOed besides Santos?

Branch is good and has a chance of beating Bisping but you're making it sound like he has TRT Vitor and Henderson power.

You misunderstood what I said... I wasn't giving Branch props in the slightest. Bisping would beat him. I was saying Bisping needs a big dollar farewell fight against someone that won't destroy him (Weidman, Jacare, Romero, Whittaker, Rockhold etc).
 
You must be on crack or sniffing the good booga suga if you think David Branch is a good retirement fight, retirement straight into a coma. Bisping don't need or want any part of that...
 
Funny how on Sherdog, Bisping went from the favorite for beating GSP to a washed up former champion in less than one year
 
Don't see Bisping coming bck hrs been backing off the retirement fight idea more and more lately I wanted him v Machida but don t see it going dwn now.
