Can't blame him for being over-confident at that time. He knocked down and beat Silva up in the stand up.
Though he later found out GSP is a superior stand up fighter to Silva.

1 cut that bleed extensively does not equate to beating up your opponent (see sherk vs ken flo). Iirc GSP still lead in strikes. The most significant strike bisping landed was an elbow from the botttom AFTER being TD.

I remember much more than 1 sig strike. I'm not a Ping fan by any means but I had him winning before that amazing left hook by George. Probably the greatest thing he has thrown in 10 years.

We all have our bias. I went into that fight thinking GSP was going to bend Bisping into a pretzel. That probably affected how I viewed the fight.
