I posted this in the Heavyweights forum but have been suprised by the amount of childish posts that followed.
What is it these days on Sherdog? Are we being taken over (litteraly) by fanboys who know nothing about the martial arts behind MMA?
It can seem that way when a fighter who is 16-1, 75% wins by striking, 75% wins in the first rnd, never KO'd, never sub'd, never tko, only loss is a judges decision to Rashad Evans... and still gets called a b level fighter or has nothing to offer...
I know TUF brings out the fanboys who then think they realy 'know' the sport but come on...
Anyway, enough of that!
If you are interested in good standup technique, Michael Bisping has a new 2 set DVD out on techical Striking for MMA.
The DVDs realy are great, they cover loads ranging from boxing, kickboxing, evasive striking, counter striking, clinch work, knees, combos, drills and loads more.
These are the standup techniques, drills, combos used by Bisping, Rampage, Congo etc.. and are realy good to build up decent training techniques.
2 disc set is released July 11th but you can pre-order to get first delivery at [email protected]
$25 for double disc set. Top content if you are serious about training.
