I honestly don't see Mike ever getting a title shot. Regardless of if he would lose or not. If Dana was ever going to give him one, he would have done it by now. It's not like there hasn't been less deserving people get title shots. I'm guessing he might bring him into the fold and make him a company man. Kinda like Big Nogs position, but for the U.K. Could be wrong though.

Either way, great performance by both of them, and Bispings speech was an epic moment in MMA.

Wasn't any home cooking involved unless Silva was in on it. He threw that fight away.
On topic, I'd expect the same thing to be said by any decent manager/trainer but it's still a bit far fetched. Can't really take much substance from that win as far as title contention goes. It was too much of an aberration unless you're just using wins and losses. And when I say aberration I mean on Silva's part. Mike fought with a champion's heart but no where near a champion's skill level outside of Serra/GSPesque.

It is hard to give him a title shot when he just got beat by the champion not that long ago. But if he is ever going to get one .. this would be the time. 3 fight win streak with his last win being over Anderson Silva the once king of the division. Bisping is currently ranked 4th on the UFC website. The UFC gave shots out for less. I am sure they can put an angle on it and make the casual tune in.

I say give him his shot. He deserves it after eating that knee and being able to continue for 2 more rounds and still get the win. He can fight Diaz afterwards.
