Happy 75th Birthday to Billy Robinson!!! To whom who don't already know, Billy Robinson is one of the very best Catch Wrestlers in the modern era, he is one of the remaining men that have trained at Billy Reily's Snake Pit, and has contributed immensely in training several mixed martial arts legends including Kazushi Sakuraba and Josh Barnett. He is one of strong forces supporting the grassroots movement to bring back Catch Wrestling. True wrestling legend!

I finally got his 5 DVD set and it's pretty cool just listening to his stories. Seems like he has lived a very interesting life.

Much respect for Billy, and his grandson Ryan, currently showing CACC's effectiveness in BJJ competitions.

Happy birthday to Billy. I have been watching anything on Youtube I could find with him in it lately.

To be honest I didn't know that, that's excellent! I haven't heard anything of him, since I have been on here. I have noticed Catch has been talked about more on here since Barnett has beat Mir. I looked Ryan up, couldn't find anything. Can you link me some stuff? I'm really curious about him.

Great stuff again, Bruce Lee. Robin Mask is awesome!! I loved youre post on when WWF too over the wrestling scence, making the shoot culture much smaller in wrestling.

Thats a shame haha, I'd be great for him to have an heir. A young upstart in Catch Wrestling.

Very legit catch wrestler and worker. He trained at Billy Reily's Snake Pit you dont get much more legitmite CACC than that. I am definitly more intrested in shoot wrestling now but man some of the moves Billy did in worked matches were fantastic and this was the same time or before when Hogan had like 3 moves. To me I used to think 70s/80s worked wrestling was limited and boring but man Billy was doing a lot of stuff back in the day that wasnt invented or the workers especially WWF guys werent doing because they were even close to Billy's level, at real wrestling ability, since they were to busy getting buff for Vince.

I am not an expert on Billy, but I have read a bit on his accomplisments im sure he was an amazing catch and amatuer wrestler, in competition also. Since Billy has been a worker also, when they say hes wrestled and beat guys around the world. I'm mostly sure they mean real competition, but I'm not 100%. Especially since worked wrestling took over 20-30 some years before Billys prime. Snake Pit is and was one of the very best CACC gyms. Riley was amazing in his wrestling knowlege also.
