Imagine if he hadn't injured himself doing Judo.
I think scott adkins is better. Just saying.
Not at fighting.
Who else could get that armbar?
What's with the goofy ref awarding points with his own air kick?
I almost spit my coffee out reading this. Same exact thought, ha. There's a fourth dude in there nobody else can see – ref's got him under control though.
6-11 seconds equals best fight intro ever
I imagine he is doing that to indicate which technique scored, so that the judges can write down the appropriate number of points.
The ref is awesome.
Point karate isn't fighting; even when it's full contact.
Still, his speed was certainly impressive. One of the legends. I remember an old timer I used to chat with in the mid-00's wouldn't shut up about Superfoot, Don the Dragon, Chuck Norris, Ed Parker, and the movie Billy Jack. He thought Cung Le would destroy anyone who ever fought in the UFC.
I was referring to Bill's kickboxing career.
Well, that makes sense.
karate guys today still think that the karate "masters"in japan of the 50s-80s would kill any ufc fighter today because they could do in human things...
But you know what is also cool, having a hot Asian girlfriend who is secretly a kung fu master and is looking for the remaining scroll that contains hidden secrets of the iron palm strike technique.
I really need to lay off the kung fu movies.
Try your best to win them all and one day time will tell!
When you’re the one who’s standing there, you’ve reached the final bell!!!!!
yeah, lets pretend as if there are not and have not been ufc champions with significant karate background.
There is no such thing as full contact point fighting. Kind of an oxymoron.
yes there is. you get points tallied for contact but can be knocked out as well. It's pretty much the same type of scoring as olympic boxing.
they wernt pure karate at all and you know that lol only 1 guy became champion loyoto machida and his era wasnt long and he got there by having great tdd and good clinch game
What? Are you allowed to enforce a knockout or not, if not, then it's NOT full contact? You are allowed to enforce a KO in Olympic Boxing.
Separate names with a comma.
