Bill Starr 5x5(Madcow) deload?

I stayed on the program until i stopped making gains. If you hit a wall change a few things up and see if it helps you break through your plateau
 
Go as long as you can and if you are feeling beat up take some time off and then reset and make another run.

However, it seems that a deload is never mentioned for the intermediate version. I'd appreciate it if you could share what you'd do once you stall on a lift.
 
In the intermediate version you go until you quit making gains. There is no deload until the program is over, and then you deload. If you move to the advanced program it is a 9 week program that is much more specific in its deload.
 
My bad, I didn't see the question about stalling on a lift. Depends which lift. You can just do a reset, but if I continued stalling on my squat despite a reset or two then I would move on to the advanced version or a different program.

Yeah I would wait until I miss reps for a few weeks in a row and then do a 10%-20% reset on the lift.
