What? How can you not follow a mandate that says masks are optional? That doesn't make any sense. Its not like Florida banned masks. They made them optional. And it seems that a lot of people elect to wear the mask by their own accord. And if, as you say, that is the reason Flordia's Covid numbers are so good, then it begs the question of why we need mask mandates anywhere. It seems mask-optional guidelines work just fine.

Its unpredictable. Its averaged over millions of cases now. The threat to young, healthy people is extremely miniscule. You can find cases of anything killing people. We are talking statistics here.

Healthy people have also died from meteor strikes. I don't happen to live my life in fear of meteors. Covid killed ~6k people in my age bracket according to the CDC. Suicides killed way more than that in my age bracket. So I'm much, much more concerned about positive messages, having a healthy social life, and diet and exercise.

People have to stop consuming the fear porn. It isn't doing anyone any good. The media took a relatively mild virus that is only any threat to the elderly and overweight, and had young, healthy people disinfecting their Amazon packages before bringing them into their house. Its out of control.

lol the florida jokes are hilarious. I never caught covid because I was always at the beach for 13 months or on bike path. my cousin who stays indoors had covid pretty bad for some days.
