Of course it's the most retarded thing we've seen in combat sports in a very, very long tine. But it's so stupid that it's actually funny, and what's wrong with some mindless entertainment once in a while? I'm enjoying this, and I'll watch the fight (because I don't have to pay for it, mind you).
Besides, neither fighter has anything to lose. Floyd is obviously going to win the fight, and if Conor manages to get a moment or two of success before it ends, you might consider him a moral victor. What more can you expect from a guy in an unwinnable fight? Both parties make money, everyone is happy (well, except for people buying the fight not knowing what to expect).
