That in a nutshell. Both products are made overseas for around $5-10 but people just have to have them. Honestly, I've never bought a pair of Jordans. That's damn near a utility bill. I've worn a pair of Nikes and I will say, I was not impressed. They're too thin and bend too easily.

As for beats by dre, expensive ass oversized headphones. Nope I'm good.

So which is a bigger waste. Jordan's or Beats?

They're both very explosive items. Right up there with big ass gold chains and Cadillac Escalades

ah your location gave it away

I work at a premium and luxury car dealership. Clients willfully trade in their Range Rovers even though we clearly ridiculously lowball them. They are sinfully unreliable (British engineering, sorry), and cost a fortune on gas. They also lose their value quickly.

I have Bluetooth Dre earbuds. I got them free when I traded my old phone into Verizon. I like them and could see myself buying another pair if these last awhile. Jordans just aren't my style. Bonus fact: I don't like swim shorts with netting.

I got my first gen beats (before they sold to apple) on a black friday deal for essentially 75$, at that price they're not too bad, but at full price they are definitely overpriced.

Jordans are a waste of money if you buy then to wear, but the collectors market can be lucrative.

    Beats, hands down.

Jordans are actually decent shoes. I tried beats out at Best Buy and the Apple store before, and shit sounded like it came out of the dollar store. Distorted at highs and lows (despite being listed as "good for bass for rap/hiphop". I can't believe they were even trying to be in the same ball park with M50s, D2000s, or other good cans.

I'd even say that Bose's are over-inflated as well

when I hear someone bought a pair of Beats headphones, I just assume that haven't bothered to do any research into headphones. Fair enough, some don't really care.

when I hear someone bought a pair of Jordans, I just assume they are of a lower socioeconomic background and make poor financial choices. All the kids growing up had a pair of Jordans but were in the free lunch line, lived in the projects and their mothers couldn't afford to buy them a proper coat in a Wisconsin winter. The gravest insults to them were about 1. their mothers and 2. shoes. If you scuffed their Jordans, fight was on.

Who is willing to pay for something like this? You then sell the shoes pair by pair?
The guy is 30 yo and the articles says he took him 20 years to collect all of them. So he started at 10 years old? With size 8 shoes or w/e? With parents' money?
Beats are over priced pos but this is just stupid.

Range Rovers are a pile of wank. But if you can't afford to keep one running, you should've bought that Kia instead.

People are really into deafening, overpriced headphones that sound pretty lousy for the money spent.

Beats have two different types, right?

I tried the cheap pair out, they sucked, but the more expensive version were quite good.

Never bought them, just tried them out in the store.
