Biggest downfall in UFC history?

Talking purely UFC, Mark Coleman. No contest. Mark Kerr never even lost in the UFC.

Not exactly a downfall, but more a sign of age and evolution of the sport getting better all around... it's almost good in a sense that DW retired Hughes rather than have his career record keep getting littered with losses.

Better than having people look at him the way a lot of people looked at Liddell.

1,5 years ago, Miguel Torres was 37-1 and a top pound for pound fighter. Since then, he has gone 3-5 and been cut.

It almost seemed like Bowles took Miguel's career and most of his skills and chin away when he KO'ed the shit out of him

Brock- after Shane Carwin hit him in the face.

After Carwin hit Brock in the face, brock got up, and was working on a takedown and then the first round ended. The second round started and Brock immediately shot in for a double legger, got it, and then choked Carwin out. If you call that a downfall...

Diverticulitis, especially getting it for the second time was Brock's downfall and that was the biggest downfall in UFC history because that disease ended the career of the man who still is the biggest draw The UFC ever had.

One pretty big downfall nobody has mentioned is Houston Alexander. He was looking real good and then nothing.

It has be Chuck.

He went from top of the world to going 1 - 5 and he got KTFO'ed in 4 of those losses.

Jardine got a couple good names under his belt before have dropped 5 in a row.

Jardine actually was a decent name at the time. He was looking to be a contender before that fight. Sakara was, at least, a better name then, than now.

Chuck Lidell is the name, biggest downfall... the age came form him.. Another names like Wanderlei Silva, Cro Cop, Big Nog... the same thing is happening...

He beat Forrest Griffin. That was Jardine's claim to fame at the time. he actually was more of a contender AFTER the loss to Alexander when he beat Liddell and Vera

Had a really quick finish too. I wish they would have had him back. His fight with Anderson Silva was much more competitive than I thought it was going to be

They couldn't get him back. His lifestyle bit him in the ass and denied him another visa.

Ken Shamrock. Nobody pissed away his legacy like he did.

Joe Daddy
fighting for the title... beatdown of all time (well at least BOTY) happens
then totally falls off

don't look at my av!

Roger Huerta? From UFC prospect and hope for a mexican draw to getting kicked in the face in some no name promotion
