What are some recent fights that - in hindsight - shouldn't have been made? (Not including CM Punk/Greg Hardy)

IMO the most egregious was the Frankie Edgar/Yair Rodriguez matchup... Yair was biting off way more than he could chew, his hardest opponent before Frankie was Andre "Touchy" Fili, for God's sake! Edgar was a colossal step up.
This is the face of regret:

What other beatdowns should have never been scheduled?

Shevchenko vs a crackhead

I know someone is going to want to say Shevchenko/Cachoeria was poor matchmaking, but it really wasn't. It's just an example of a fighter being significantly better than her entire field of competition.

There is a difference between bad matchmaking and a lack of competition. Name one fighter, who was in the division at the time, that wouldn't have been destroyed just like Cachoeria was?

who sanctioned Chuck Old'dell vs Tito "Cracked Skull" Ortiz?

Do substitutions due to injury count? If so, Stipe Miocic vs Fabio Maldonaldo was very WTF in retrospect.

Rumble Johnson vs Yoshiyuki Yoshida
Rumble was literally twice his size on fight night.
