He saved the card and takes risks, unlike any fighter in the ufc. I know I'll get a lot of hate. ...but i really don't care. You can't say anything about anything on sherdog these days without people hating just to hate.
Let me discuss a few bullet points:
-nate always stays in shape (camp) and even said so in his post fight interview. dude does triathlons. so this whole nate not having a camp is nonsense.
-nate cut WATER WEIGHT from ~180, and probably weighed the same come fight night. conor couldn't get past a true weight of 168.. that's a huge difference ...and nate even looked bigger with the eye test. anyone saying they weighed the same on fight night are the biggest idiots walking this planet. period.
-nate wasn't hand picked lol. there was no one else to fight. everyone you could possibly list already had fights, they even called frankie who said no.forget that? even aldo.
Nate was the only person who would step up, so conor said fk it. nobody gives him credit for that.
-anyone with a unbiased brain knows conor lost to his own gas tank, which got depleted from pointless spinning techniques and headhunting. He destroyed nate before he gassed (you could have inserted liz carmouch at that point and she would have beat conor)....it's not because nate is some beast. yes he took a shot and hung in there, but he just waited out the gastank. put eddie alverez or rory macdonald back in with nate and see how good he is.
conor does have a major cardio issue, which you even saw a glimpse of in the mendez fight (could barely breath after the fight in the interview with rogan) that is my biggest criticism of conor.
-He saved the card for our entertainment and the fans. little nate would have pulled out had he been in conors shoes and screwed the card. that's a fact.
revel all you want in conors defeat, but he became more of a fan in my book.
He made 196 one of the best ufcs in history. He could have pulled out, but he takes risks.
hope he works on his cardio ffs. can't wait to see him again.
flame away, don't bother me none.
