I would have to say cain vs werdum. We witnessed werdum's stand up and ground game on full display vs cain. For fedor, it was just the superior ground game. What do you think?:icon_chee

What? Fedor vs Werdum was no where near a "beatdown".

Fedor/Werdum is about the least amount of damage you can take, and still lose the fight.

I am assuming what TS meant was which loss was worse.

Even if that is what he means, I would still say Cain's was worse. He got beat in every phase of the fight.

Fedor was caught Cain got beat up.

  8. Both excellent wins/bad losses. Cain got his doo doo pushed in though and he would like this thread to die

    Or you could say:

Cain put up an actual fight, Fedor did not.

Neither was a beatdown at all.

It was 1 round a piece going into the 3rd in Werdum Cain.

Fedor was winning until he got caught.

I wouldn't describe either one as a "beat down".

I'll have to go with Werdum vs Cain seeing as how the other fight wasn't a beatdown at all.

Indeed , with Fedor I was all
    "...holy fuck it's all over!!...."

While with Cain he gave it everything he had and when Werdum slapped on that choke I was all " fuck it's over "

Werdum is a completely different fighter than when he fought Fedor the first time

The striking he has makes it hard to see someone beating him

How was the Fedor fight considered a beatdown? Did Werdum even land a significant strike? He just subbed him... Great sub! For the Cain fight he smashed him for 3 rounds before getting a sub... Not even close IMO

I hear people say this a lot about Werdum's striking. While it has greatly improved from his early fights, I don't see it as anywhere near elite level. I think there are a number of HW's that could outstrike him, Fedor being one of them.
