Bigfoot Silva needs to hang 'em up...

Since defeating Fedor, he has gone 3-10-1, 9 losses by (T)KO. He's also lost 5 straight.

He's lost to some good/great fighters, this is just too much man.

Gave us some great fights in the UFC. Come from behind KO victory against the Reem, and provided a legendary fight vs Hunt. Got beat up by Cain a couple of times, came to bleed.

Here's a much needed farewell to an underrated action fighter!

It's hard for fighters to hang it up. Fighting is so hard on the body and mind. I wish it wasn't that way. At one point he was so close to the top but his body just can't do it. It must be hard admitting to ones self that they just don't have it anymore. I enjoyed him but wish for his wellbeing he could allow himself to step away. If he keeps fighting I hope he can keep the damage minimal. I wish him luck and success.
