I actually have some unsight to this. Apparently Arlovski was annoyed by the russian support for fedor when he was angry cause they acted like he had no russian roots, just cause he is technically Belarusian. So that and some overall jealousy.

It's one of the biggest question marks in history. Nogueira came out like an animal and Fedor was on the defensive the entire time, then got cut. Nogueira was a fucking ANIMAL in that grand prix, outboxing Kharitonov, inventing the anaconda choke and submitting Herring with it. He came into the Fedor rematch for blood, but because of the circumstances, Fedor changed his entire approach for the rematch.
