Just getting back into the sport after a 5 year layoff and Its still impossible to find fight shorts over 42'' waist.

I have a pair of ring to cage xxxl muay thai trunks and they will literally fit one of my legs at the thigh, the elastic actually will hold up the shorts at my thigh!!

I wear a singlet + rashguard now with some generic basketball shorts.

The Jon Jones split leg shorts are AWESOME but not available at the retail level, gladiator style look pretty cool but once again only made in micro sizes

Board shorts from walmart fit great but they have pockets and dont stretch.

muay thai shorts that stretch and have a waist of at least 46'' would be awesome

board shorts with a 46'' waist and split legs [jon jones style] world be awesome

I am about ready to order gladiator shorts but I cant wear those while im coaching highschool wrestling and they dont come any larger than a 42''

so im seriously gonna take a pair of walmart ocean pacific shorts and have my tailor close the pockets and split the legs so I can get back on the mat and look somewhat professional!

Or perhaps you people know of someone that has enough sense to make american sized big mans fight shorts??

im 5'11'' 300lbs at 25% but I have massive legs and wear a 46'' waist in street.

You could look into getting some shorts custom-made for you, you'll probably have some domestic companies local-ish to you that will do it, and there's well-known Pakistani ones as well that'll ship the product to you.

yeah title and ringside both make custom boxing trunks but muay thai cut [wide leg] NO WAY

Its amazing to me that companies dont have the sense to put their gear out in american sizes, its so stupid it boggles the mind, europe and america are HUGE markets and yet to this day you cant find MMA or Muay Thai gear off the "shelf" in american or european sizes

The average american male waist is 40" today...that equates to the 5x lg in Asian sizes.

99.9 % of fight gear is Asian sized and maxes out at 42"

Just think about the math the average American man getting involved in mixed martial arts or Muay Thai has less than a 2 in addition to their size in buying gear this is a tragic void in the market...

I just got a pair from a company that I purchased through Amazon. When I get home I'll post up the name.
