“As soon as I signed with Bellator, that very day, there was definitely an excitement and a relief where you’re just like, ‘I can’t wait to get out there and do this,'”

“The one thing I’ve learned is I’ve gotten beat damn pretty hard with the UFC, where I learned that the belt – I used to love that belt,” Nelson said. “The belts actually meant something. But what I learned about the UFC is that UFC belts don’t mean (expletive). And I mean it doesn’t mean (expletive).

“The reason why is you can come off losses, you can move up four weights, you can be whatever. ‘Oh, we’ve got super fights’ and (expletive) like that. Or, ‘I’m a three-time champion.’ I’m a lightweight and heavyweight and whatever you want to call it and be like, they can make up titles and do whatever.”

"Bellator takes the politics out of it."

"I'm going to rub my belly."

Can't blame him for feeling this way. Bisping ducks the entire division, I believe Conor's next fight is against one of the Bushwackers who's coming out of retirement in the WWE.

The belt needs to have value - when guys get title shots that don't make sense, or get a shot just for moving up a weight class, it cheapens it.

Welcome to the WME era. Gotta have super fights to pay off the $4B debt.

Good for him. It's a resentment we are all starting to feel.

Now go out there and KO Kongo again lol has his first opponent been announced yet?

Roy Nelson should never be concerned about ANY belts.

He has a point, but there is a point when the sport and entertainment intersect.

Ufc is a business and is in the business of doing good business.

At least wwe has decency to break the fourth wall and tell it how it is. Entertainment.

Not sure what he even knows about they situation as anytime he came within a "expletive "hair of the belt he got beat down.

He is a former champion.....

Roy Nelson couldn't get a win to save his life. Of course he's going to be upset.
