HOH nominates three people for eviction, America Votes on Weekly MVP granting that player special undefined powers to reward gameplay and voting begins on June 20th (A week before the game begins)

The winner of the poll will be named that week's Big Brother MVP and will receive special powers, though more details of what that entails will be revealed at a later date.

Fans will be able to vote for the first MVP of the season before the show even begins when CBS unveils the raft of new houseguests on Thursday (June 20).

"The Big Brother MVP will force the houseguests to rethink their strategies," executive producers Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan said. "With America rewarding good gameplay, it doesn't pay to be a floater this summer."

CBS also confirmed that contestants will nominate three houseguests for eviction each week, with further details of the process to be announced during the season premiere.

16 houseguests this season, No more nomination chairs, potential America Votes twist

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x10zzmb_bb15-tour-with-julie_travel#.Ub_8Evm-2uI

A video for Entertainment Tonight has been posted of a tour of the house by Julie Chen. She explains in the video that there are no more nomination chairs in the living room and that has to do with the first big twist this summer. My guess is with the HOH still being involved in the game, the HOH nominates multiple people and America votes on who they want out. This is the first time since the first season that they would do this similar to the international versions of Big Brother. Chen also announced that there will be 16 houseguests.

As far as the America Votes twist, this was posted..

Excellent! I enjoy this show, but the return of previous houseguest always seemed to mess with the dynamic.

People arent tired of this shit yet?

Can't wait. When does the season start?

Can't wait. I assume they are doing a super-sized cast hence the earlier start date.

No returning houseguests this summer!

GOOD!! They have had returning house guests the last two seasons. They don't need to do that again for a while.

Although, at least they only had a handful of returning houseguests as opposed to an entire house of "all stars". Those seasons of Big Brother and Survivor which only have returning "all star" players are just the worst!

I can't to see what gap worthy contestants are on it this year.

I'm pretty surprised they're only having new players this season. Not that I'm complaining it's just that it seems like the recent trend for Survivor and Big Brother has been to always have veterans.

Any Sherdoggers gonna audition? Gonna send mine in tomorrow, methinks.

Can't create any new stars if they're all old people.

Yup. It'll be more than 16 from what I've read.

There's also a rumor that it'll be a new house and they'll be using HD cameras. But they say that every year.

“Big Brother is back with a TWIST SO BIG… “
Julie Chen “We’ll need YOUR help to pull it off!”
“YOU’LL impact the game LIKE NEVER BEFORE!”
Joe Arvin “Thank you America!”
“Julie Chen hosts the season premiere Wednesday June 26th!”

With this and Julie Chen announcing that this will be a "no floater season". All this starts next Wednesday! Can't wait. BB After Dark will be on the TV Guide Network.

Oh shit I didnt realize it started right away..... I better get cable.

How can Julie Chen say there won't be any floaters? That seems like the sorta thing you can't avoid since everyone can't be a power player. Fewer floaters would definitely make for a more exciting season.

I guess there's a chance that they tried to cast people that they thought would be big gamers instead of people with big personalities that have never seen the show. Obviously anyone can talk a big game in their interviews but that doesn't mean they'll actually do it in the house.

Honestly as much as people hate on floaters given the structure of the show it's probably the best way to play the game, especially early on. This isn't Survivor, you can't expect to just build an alliance and steam roll everyone. Eventually some one outside of your group will win HOH and if you're seen as the alpha they're going after you. Since this season is going to have a bigger cast and last longer than previous editions the floater strategy will probably make even more sense.

With there not being any more nomination chairs, I think America votes on who they want out so everyone has to play the game.

I didn't even know that this show was still on.
