I was watching some of the newer episodes of this once great show and it got me thinking when exactly did this show jump the shark.

I think the show has gotten old and the clich

No the show at one time was witty and funny. Now it sucks..

I find it hard to watch now, Penny and Raj make me angry every time I see them... Especially Raj, he's a douche and a shitty friend to the other guys. I cant stand him or his character.

The show definitely suffers when everyone is too happy...no misery for at least one character=difficult to watch show.

I'd say about the 3rd season they started to become too self aware. The comic/movie references felt forced instead of witty. Adding Bernadette and Amy as anything more than secondary characters sealed it. I hate seeing all of them sitting around the apartment, it should be just the 4 and occasionally Penny.

Come on, there have been some hysterical past episodes from the earlier seasons.

The time Howard got his junk caught in the robot hand is funny as hell but now its just lame as hell...

They shouldn't have had him get married. He was better as a perv who hounded women and banged escorts.

Raj and Penny have just gotten progressively worse as the show progressed though.

Agree, the girls haven't made the show better and the less Penny the better..

I was watching Suicide Kings for the first time the other day. The girl I was watching it with told me that one of the characters was a dude who later went on to be in this show, I hadn't recognized him until she said it. For the rest of the movie, all I could think about was the shitty fucking Big Bang Theory.
