For a while this was a fight alot of people were calling for until Jean beat Chad. Assuming that Hop beats Pascal this time around this fight could easily be made. Who would you favor?

While Bernard is one of my favorite fighters and someone i've learned not to bet against Dawson does pose severel issue.

The first and foremost being his speed. Dudes quick historically Hop has had trouble with fighters that are quicker then him. I could see his althletism, speed, soild jab and decent workrate giving Bhop fits.

Now dont get me wrong. The Pascal fight showed me alot of things abOut Chad that Bernard would take full advantage of. He's lack of urgency really bothered me, late in the fight and down on points he still seemed to be coasting(for lack of a better term) at times. His defense at times can also be alittle porous and in the Johnson fight his inside work didnt look the best.

Whats your take?

That's it for me, I don't know how you can beat Dawson without dragging him into a fight. I love B-Hop, but it's a bad match up for him.

Chad takes this one, I am of the belief that the Pascal flight was a bad night out for Chad.

I'm not a Dawson fan in the slightest... anyone who's followed my posting here knows the contempt I feel for him because of the way he treated Diaconu and Cloud as well as the malicious glee I felt when Pascal beat him.

But there's a reason B-Hop barely breathed his name when he had the title while being the first in line when Pascal won it. Dawson couldn't get Hopkins into the ring for love nor money... and Hopkins is about the canniest operator in the world when it comes to picking bouts (challenging though they are) that he feels he stands a good chance in.

Agreed, B Hop hasn't wanted that fight for years, not sure why he'd want it now.
