Me too.....Styles make fights......and sometimes the other guy just has your number......but I got a nice wedge of humble pie in the fridge to devour if I'm wrong. Serra by KO
    *crosses fingers*

Bo Hop v. Calzaghe ?............Gotta go with Hop (even though he is getting long in the tooth). Hop has faced the stiffer competition and has that ability to rise to the occasion.....But........I won't put any cash down on it. Sometimes a fighter goes to the well once too many times.....This could very well be that trip for Bo Hop.

cal by split decision. hopkins is tough and I would never underestimate him but think cal will be a bit too busy for him

If B-hop wins, and GSP loses, IMA BE FUCKIN FURIOUS!

The Prince of Wales (unanimous decision)

people will say the fight was close, but that won't be reflected in the score cards.

I salute you for your boldness, but there's nothing about Serra's style that gives him the advantage over GSP. If he wins it'll be because he has a brass set and lucky hands.

Yes, even if he does it again.

Having a fighter's 'number' doesn't always imply that you somehow have a stylistic advantage over that fighter. As I said before, a Serra victory would have to come from determination and the will to win.....mental strength is the only conceivable stylistic advantage you could argue he possessed over GSP--then again, I wouldn't call mental strength a fighting style so much as a fighting asset.

    We'll find out tonight.

i dont feel like there is a whole lot that should suggest that calzaghe doesnt have the chin to stand up to anything that hopkins throws. I think the days where hes likely to go out there and be the executioner are probably in the past.

Having said all that, i think the fight is probably a UD calzaghe and people will be disappointed at the width of the cards.

    Here we go!!!!

I will say this.. if Cal wins this one, he'll have made me a believer. I see his awkward style and slappy punches and I just dont think that works against a fighter that doesnt get impressed by flashy punches and high output.
