Oliveira fight I agree with and think is right on point...I think Dustin is more of a 50/50 toss up.

BSD and Arman have shown flashes of high level skills but Poirier and Olivera have consistently fought at a championship caliber. Hell Olivera was champ and hasn't even shown he's slown down so him being the underdog is a bit surprising.

I'm interested to know where Dustin's motivation for this matchup is rooted from. Does he believe a victory here proves doubters wrong and gets him a title shot next?? This seems like a race between he and Oliveira that could possibly end up in a playoff between the two.
Ultimately I'm happy with both fighters accepting new challengers and am excited by the ideas of any and all outcomes...

I feel like Poirier will put a beating on BSD. BSD is a bad ass, very tough and well rounded. He’s just up against it here, IMO, but they’ll settle it in the octagon and that’s gonna be good!

Poirier’s striking is on a another level and his grappling is good as well. So good that only the elite grapplers have had success in grappling him and getting him out of there. I just hope Poirier won’t go for a guillotine every time BSD engages in grappling…

While both long time veterans are dogs who’ve beaten* the best, they’re both somewhat shopworn.
Add the massive amount of available tape to study, and there’s more than a good enough argument that they both might lose.

Until they give us proof that they’re spent, it’s their fight(s) to lose, though.

How do you see Oliveira winning? Tsarukyan is only improving fight to fight and is young, hungry and fast. Also like Islam I think he won't be afraid to grapple with Olivieira and will be able to neutralize all sub attempts where guys like Poirier & Gaethje couldn't. Wouldn't hang on desperately to Tsarukyan getting cracked by Silva as evidence of much, dude can thump. Also Oliveira gets visibly hurt or dropped in half his fights even on his win streak so that's a losing argument anyways.

Dariush has been ran through in the first round or otherwise finished multiple times before Oliveira or Tsarukyan got to him, wasn't particularly shocking. Dariush was also doing sloppy stuff vs Oliveira like trying to punch a hole through the canvas with awful ground and pound lol.
