Even if Karelin sucked at MMA striking, he could lay he way to the top of the division. Judo competitors, even medalists, have shown a tendency to get knocked out in MMA.

Karelin could never pass a usada test and he sucked in mma anyway. He had one fight and it sucked ass. That guy was called the experiment for a reason. He was loaded up on every Soviet era steroid there was. Riner might be able to pass usada but only because hes experienced in passing olympic testing with modern advanced methods. Doesnt matter though because he already expressed zero interest in mma and actually a disdain for it and would get destroyed anyway.
